Appointment Changes
Due to patient feedback we have received about our online triage system, we will be making some changes to make patient access easier.
The Changes:
From 02.02.26 our online triage forms will be open from 8am - 12:30pm (for 2 weeks only),
Then from 16.02.26 our online triage forms will be open from 8am - 5:30pm Mon – Fri, this means you can contact the surgery for any medical queries between these times using our online patient form. For any admin queries the form will be open 24hrs a day.
We will also be changing the time scale in which you see or speak to a clinician. We will have 3 different types of appointments. Please see the table below which explains our current and new timescale for appointments.

What is an Acute GP?
Acute GP (Same-Day Problems)
Our Acute GP runs clinics from one site for same-day concerns. You’ll usually start with a GP telephone call, and a face-to-face appointment will be arranged if needed. As clinics run from one site only, you may need to travel for an in-person appointment.
If your problem is urgent and needs same-day care, please complete the triage form in the morning where possible.
There’s no urgency to complete forms for non-urgent issues - these are reviewed throughout the day by our triage GP.
The decision of which type of appointment you need will be decided by the clinician looking at your triage form. Once the clinician has decided on the type of appointment you require one of our admin team will be in contact to book this in for you or you will be sent a booking link, to be able to book online.
We have more appointments released every day at 8am and 1pm. If you have a booking link and do not see any appointments available, or you try calling the surgery and we advise that we do not have any bookable appointments, you can look again online or call back at 8am or 1pm Monday to Friday when more get released.
We hope that making these changes will help patients have better access to the surgery, at a time that is convenient for them.
